Sup guys

basically last night I went out in Cardiff on a night out with the lads for my birthday. The next day I went to JD sports and bought a Lacoste polo shirt (£50).

When I got home (I live 2 hours drive from Cardiff) I realized that the polo I had purchased still has the Ink security tag on it.

Any ideas on what I can do? I don't wanna drive all the way to Cardiff again to get it removed, and the nearest JD sports for me is Cardiff haha. I was thinking of maybe going to a different cloth shop and get them to remove it for me, might look dodgy though!!

Any ideas on what I can do, or if anyone has had this happen to them before?

The ink tags we used to use at my work came off with a strong magnet... Got any strong magnets around?

If not, have a go at taking it to another shop and explain! Never know, they might take pity...

I know for a fact that JD sports security tags are dummies. Just rip it off and all will be well.*

*The above statement is a lie.

I know how you feel, I once bought my girlfriend a really sexy pair of Viva La Juicy underwear and the bish at the store forgot to take the tag out, hence ruining my evening that night

Take the top and the receipt to a local JD Sports store and ask them to remove it!??

Edit - Exeter and WSM must be closer to you than Cardiff?

Ink tags don't set alarms off because they don't have the little magnetic chip thing inside that the electronic barriers pick up.

They work because you can't get them off without breaking the little ink canisters inside and ruining the item.

We used to give people a £5 voucher if they came in with an ink tag left on.
