seeking aftermarket cooler for vtx3d 7950 boost

K so it successfully flashed and now for some reason my pc wont detect ethernet and also my gpu was already set to bios 2 which might have been the previous owners doing and yes i did flash the actual gpu after finding out which was the gpu, installing drivers again now

I wouldnt like to think i somehow flashed my ethernet, the whole pc is working fine but havent checked temps and throttling yet

Ok the temps and vcore are definately better so i definately flashed the gpu vcore is 1.13 on watchdogs and 63 celsuis, i cant test bf4 because you know no internet and stuffs

i flicked it back to the stock bios 2, my ethernet is working again

what you did was witchcraft but its no good if my ethernet doesnt work lol

forgive me for the spam posting, i was in oh **** i broke everything mode, do you have any IM programs like gmail steam and the like

With a stock tdp of 250 and raising to 300 would cut it very close to my pcs psu (fsp raidyr 450w) while there still a good 70 ish watts (i3 3220 8gb ram ssd and 2hdds) unless that is the whole pcs tdp and not just the cards

The bios has nothing to do with your ethernet working. Your psu will be fine. Relax and enjoy or go back to bios 2, your choice. :)

Is there no way you can take another look, its extremely weird that the ethernet simply doesnt work and i have no other means of playing online

Sorry I've done all i can. It has nothing to do with an ethernet connection, so don't worry. Use whichever one works best for you. Good luck. :D

my new bt homehub 4 came this morning, installed it and rigged it all up, previous was a hh3

i am not ******** you, the ethernet works fine, everything works fine

thank you a lot, who woulda thought the ****** router would be to blame

Told you Matt would sort you out :D Really don't know what AMD were doing with these boost BIOS's. 1.25v is enough for most cards to 1100-1150mhz no problem, yet they give 925mhz lol

Now im looking into a silent yet functional mid tower case, eyes on corsair carbide, looks really functional or coolermaster n200

Any suggestions at all? Dont want to spend more than £40 if i dont have to

heh. My 7950 runs at 1.21v, it got more than a little warm and noisy being the 'lesser' reference design with a pathetic little cooler and no active cooling on the ram or vrms :o

Yea I whipped that cooler off straight away....
