He means it wasn't a DVLA registered plate and simply a show plate on a car.

Erm, no. It was a car to be delivered to the customer on 1st March. I spoke to the guy that sold it.

You would be surprised at how fickle customers get in February and August and wanting to hold off until the new plate comes in. These can be the best months to pick up a new car in, some dealers do stupid deals.

Do you moan about financial years ending in April at a lot of places too? I don't really see why it annoys you so much.
