I think the plates will reverse so it'll be ABC 01DE, just like the old plates when the reg year letter went from the end to the start somewhere around the early 80s IIRC.

because first registration was always 1st of september

so rather than changing this, they kept the 1st of september as a registration date, but then had one 6 months before. Which is 1st of march

It used to be in August up until 1998, then it changed in 1999 to september and march.

And most of the 58 plates I have seen have been the Fiestas and 3-series Beemers. Guess the other companies have been having a rough time trying to shift some cars.
