Oh don't you guys worry, I still have my original DC with all the games I bought from new

I used the noctua fan kit from 8bit mods. It's pricey but the quality of the plastic parts is second to none.

I still got mine in mint condition boxed with loads of official accessories. If i want to play dc games its its easier to use an emulator.

Mine was given to me by a work colleague who knew I liked all things retro. It cost me a pub lunch.

Optical drive out and SD card in.

Having taken a DC gd-rom drive out before, it's one simple upgrade, unplug things and put in replacement drive

Yeh have gdemu on dc and a mode in my saturn. Its pretty much plug and play. Hardest part is figuring out what games you want on the sd card

Exactly what I was planning, DC and Saturn mods! Might just do a custom case too because.. why not

I've got a MODE in both my Dreamcast and Saturn, easy to install and easy enough to set up, great piece of kit.

Dreamcast will always be my favourite console the library of arcade and home games were fantastic (and less bloated than the ps2 game library which was far bigger & harder to sample as a kid with limited funds) it was my 1st time online gaming (Quake 3 Arena & PSO ftw) I always liked a 4 controller port setup some of my favourite local multiplayer experiences were playing Power Stone 2, WWF Royal Rumble, Virtua Tennis with school mates. Not even mentioning Shenmue which stays a sentimental favourite of mine I've never been blown away by a game's ambition as a kid more than I was for Shenmue. The music too!

Alright I'm booting up the emulator

Also Metropolis Street Racer is an underappreciated gem that birthed Forza I'll still give MSR a spin to see how it holds up (spoiler: it still does). Man I wanted that Vauxhall VX220 on the cover so much as a young'un lol
