Shout if you're gonna be near London, mini GD meet?
A visit to York will tell you what there is to love about the UK - our buildings and history. It's just a shame the prices for some of the attractions were sky high when I lasted visited, for example around £20 a head to enter the Minster.
I recommend the below to include in your itinerary:
Luton
Staines
Stoke
Swansea
Grimsby
Hull
Coventry
Slough
All have great culture, people, food and exemplify the greatest charm of our empirical past.
If you think the UK's flat, boy you've not seen much of the UK.
Do a tour of the country, start in the south-west down Cornwall way, work your way up the west coast, pay a visit to Snowdonia national park then head up through Liverpool and on to the Lake District, maybe stop by Scafell Pike. Keep going north til you see some terrifying Scotsmen, head up through Glencoe Pass and along Loch Ness to Ben Nevis. Inverness is a nice town to visit, head back down the east coast through Edinburgh.
Plenty to see in these sceptered isles!
To be fair, it's relatively flat. Sure there's lumps, but the tallest mountain probably wouldn't register as a hill to most countries!
In fact, out of the 252 countries on this list. Ben Nevis comes in at 150th

Everyone would have you think it's flat everywhere

Lincolnshire, now that's pancake flat. I miss absolutely nothing about it. Not only flat... Barren as well!
I thought Holkham was a nudist beach? Alright if you are in to that sort of thing I guessVisit Holkam, it's like the beach that time forgot. Forest leads straight into the sea, incredible.
Having just come back from a decent weekend in Stoke, it's more about who you are with and what you do there as opposed to the place itself. Decent food and things to do are available, just a case of knowing where to lookI recommend the below to include in your itinerary:
Luton
Staines
Stoke
Swansea
Grimsby
Hull
Coventry
Slough
