What a scurrilous accusation :p

But you are, you want to send them all back, you blame it all on the poles and think polish take all our jobs....Oh you subscribe to daily mail too :p :D ;)

Actually, contrary to popular belief, if a Sikh doesn't want to keep long hair he can have a bald head. Their's a religious story to why this is, but i'm too tired to explain this now. :)

Correct apart from the Daily Mail bit - I don't subscribe to it, I just read other people's copies :D

Just for reference I know Sikh's who cut their hair and don't cut their hair, likewise I know staunch Muslims, some who cut their hair, some who don't. I don't know the implications of this but I think it might help the discussion.

:)

Maybe he just wanted to get his hair cut and feared the reaction of his parents and the wider Sikh community, so perhaps on reflection we shouldn't judge him so harshly.

It was the wrong way to handle it, sends out the wrong message and makes a mockery of those that supported him through what they thought was a horrible act.

Really? I'd be very interested to hear about this myth................(by the way you will be replying to someone who is very knowledgeable about his religion) ;)

The only mockery is that they turned it into a drama and it blew up in their faces. I don't see them holding vigils for any other teen victims of assault...

Now we will never hear his story... :(

Who's that then ;)

for the life of me i cant remember but some of the threads i have read it seems many view them as a chance to 'have ago' at blacks/muslims/pols/irish etc and just gets me down a bit after a while, i mean it 2006 you would have thought those kinda of ignorant views would have died out by now
