sending flower in a card

i want to send a valentines card to my girlfriend whos in poland at the moment, and want to put a flower in there...

is it best to...

a) just cut a flower off, stick it in the card ?
b)dry the flower and put it in the card?

with a) its worth considering it may take up to 10 days or so for the card to get there.....

and with b) i have an aga at home, so would it be ok to dry the flower in there?

id say put it between 2 pieces of paper and put it inside a big book for a few days, i think if you put it straight into the card the pigment from the petals might rub off on the card and ruin it. not sure about putting it in the aga. might speed up the drying process, might ruin the flower.

how about finding a florist in poland and getting fresh flowers delivered to her on the day.

now thats would be more of a treat for her

You could always buy a fake flower, that way she gets to keep it from the card and it has less chance of smelling awful when it arrives. Then try and arrange some flowers sent instead if possible. My missus still has a fake flower I gave her from 4 yrs ago and she doesn't mind that it isn't the real deal. Just spray some of your aftershave/meat sauce on it or something :D.

I've given up with Valentines day, girlfriend thinks it's a scam (which it is) and she gives me too much grief if I buy her anything for it. Buy her enough flowers and stuff throughout the year for it not really matter if I buy her on Valentines anyway.
 
think i will do the fake flower in a card, and spray it with something..... then find a florist who delivers to poland, any recommendations from ones people have used before?
