Sennheiser PC360

I have the same card. I use headphone mode, not speakers. CMSS is different for speakers, so I don't know why people would use that. Are you using Vista/Win7 or XP?

Some people say, set the game to headphones/stereo. Personally, I think the sounds are muffled. I have the game set to 5.1. That is with Valve games though.

Ok, im on Windows 7.
Well, just got back, going to open it up and have a lil test around, see what its like. Then maybe do the mod abit later.

I don't think anyone has bought them, and there are no reviews around at the moment.
I would be careful rushing into buying them, especially with that massive price tag.

Well I have read a bit about them and the 350 as well. The 350 is apparently really good at everything except bass. But the things I have read about the 360 is that the bass is really good so I am guessing they Just fixed the bass problems with them? I tell you what i will buy them and I will do a short review for you people

Are you insane... the PC350's sound great as it is rofl.. they are easily the best headset ive ever had and ive had a few..

Srsly the extra £70 is a total waste of cash.

Maybe you didn't get what i was saying, I know the PC360's r overpriced,and i've bought a PC350 and modded it and its amazing!

And mattjd you can mod the pc350 to give it better base, its up to you tho, whether u want to pay an extra £70 for PC360s instead of modding PC350s

Thats the thread that guided me, its a bit all over the place i think there might be more pictures later on.

Basically the leather padded bits can be pulled off and clipped back on again, they arent attached by glue or anything, after that you have access to the screws so you can take the headset apart and access the bit you need to drill. Try just 1 hole in each side at first.

Sennheiser PC 360 Game

I recently broke my PC350's so I picked up a pair of 360's and also replaced my X-Fi with a Xonar Essence STX and the sound quality on Music, Video and Games is fantastic certainly over and above the 350's (not modded) but I have changed the card that drives them so not a like for like comparison I also happen to think they sound better than my HD595's that I use in the living room. I suspect the 360's are overpriced (what isn't) but to me they do sound fantastic and their super comfortable much like the PC350's but with a lovely soft velvet.
