Sensible V6 for less than 2k?

oops, well it's there for anyone who wants to ask the same queation and uses the search.

£1295 ? or did you haggle ?

Its looking like an ST24 will be my next car choice, after something fairly disposable, but decent to drive.

REALLY fancy a 205 GTi , but I fear that it will be awful on the motorway (not that i do THAT much motorway driving, but i wouldnt relish it tbh) (my Fabia is bad enough!) and a bit of a death trap tbh... would make a nice weekend car though.

Im upset you've said its hard to find one within 100 miles now,considering your not far from me :/

Standard ST24 wheels are AWFUL too.

They look awesome with OZ Superturismos though (best looking wheels ever <3 )

Shhh, don't tell Fox you think that :p. If you're on a bit more of a budget - i.e. don't fancy spending half the car's value on a set of wheels - you could get some ST200 wheels like Tom did, they look quite similar.
 
Paid the full £1295 for it, very reasonable price I thought anyway, and he wouldn't budge either!

It'll be staying as standard as possible externally, probably 1 or 2 tweaks under the bonnet. Think it's already got a Pipercross filter as it's got a sticker on the airbox, but will pop it open and check it out.

If I could find a cheap set of ST200 alloys, I'd be very tempted though! :p
