Hello, Everyone and welcome to my project logs for ''Sesto Elemento''

What is Sesto Elemento ?
Sesto Elemento (Sixth Element) is based on the Lamboghini Sesto Elemento.
The engine cover is my main focus, after i seen that, i knew i had to incorporate it into a build.

What's the plan ?
The plan is to successfully create a watercooled system, that doesn't require any radiators.
how ?
The whole front of the case will be one large custom reservoir with multiple holes for air to travel through.
Also 1 or 2 air pumps pumping cold bubbles into the base of the reservoir attempting to keep the coolant cool.
The case i'll be using will be stripped down, to just the frame and glass window.
All panels will be custom made, custom legs, custom grills etc etc.
PSU Shroud will also have water channels and the system will be a duel loop sharing the same large res.

Acrylics arrived today, so i can begin work on the panels and front reservoir!
Be slow progress, as i still have to do all the mapping with the software before i actually do the cuts.

Little update today
Top panel has been cut and I've fitted the legs to allow air to escape.
The orange is frosted,m while will glow when the LED's are on, inside the case.

Will angle cut the edges and bolt the top to the frame.

Never seen anything like that cooling idea. I'm curious if your plan is based on any tried and tested method or just a theory?

Either way I'm very interested to see how it goes.

I bolted the top panel to the frame, and used screw (black) covers, to keep things sleek.

I also had a quick test with the lights, made sure it glowed right.

I'll now drill some holes behind the Aorus logo, and put in a couple of 2.5mm white LEDS.
That should complete the top panel. :)

So we started work on the Reservoir today.
It's going to take 8 hours to cut. *Crys*
35mm thick, lazer at 50% power and speed at 0.5.

We don't wanna go too fast, or use too much power as it could melt the acrylic back together after cut, Nice and easy does it.

Reservoir update!

I had to completely re-design the reservoir due to sizes and limitations on the inlet and outlet ports.
So first of all i plotted the design on the computer

And got to work on the acrylics

Once they were cut, i took the covers off and placed them together.

I then bolted them together to test fit and get a peek at what it will look like when finished!
And i am in love!

Just a quick update.
It works.And it performs on par with a normal custom loop. If not a little better.
I was sceptical, but last night was my first test and now i can't wait to share results.

So.
First test was idle, because for some reason people like that
27c

Second.
2 and a half hours of ESO on max settings and 5760x1080 (ESO is because it's pretty intensive on the CPU)
peaked at 48c

third test was the big one
AIDA64 extreme system stability test

With results that wow'd me, here they are
In the first 20+ minutes it hovered around 55-57c
After 70minutes it never moved above 60c.
i would have left for longer than 70 minutes, but was no need, i got the results i wanted to see.

here's a short clip of the test at 17 minutes in.



I will follow up on this post soon with more details on how everything works, including a video which will describe everything better than i can with pictures and text.
