I'm not sure a dressing gown with fire residing in it is a very good idea.

Dude I did this with my towelled dressing gown the bobbles that are loose tend to go up and burn really quickly but go out just as quick it's rather cool as you can watch as the fire spreads out in a line that just moves over the entire thing then just dissappers as it runs out of bobbles for fuel

Because if there is a fire at night then you have to get out the house while being half a sleep.
If the fire starts close to you and you are wearing night cloths then you could be on fire before you are awake/out of bed

I really doubt clothes manufacturers take that situation into account when choosing materials.
