Interesting one

Have installed 6.10.56, and the 197.75 drivers, start up Boinc and in the messages tab, it has a message stating that no usable gpu's found
Im not running in vga mode, win7 see's the card as a gtx470 and reports that it is running the nvidia drivers..
Weird

They were the first ones I tried which is why I rolled back..

Morning Edge, its a pain in the rear trying to get it to work the regular way.
I did exactly as scimansteve and todd, install boinc and set it to no work then close it down before it does all the download png and whatnot.
Then just copy absolutely everything from todds data directory into your own and it works a treat. I know its far from ideal but untill something optimized comes out its our best shot....give it a go it does work.:)

My hardware is going to dwindle over the next week, 2 of the 295's are sold and am trimming down but hopefully the 470's will come into their own with some optimised apps in the next month or so :)

Quick poll on a case change.
Pic 1
The hardwares currently in an Antec 300 case with a top 140mm and rear 120mm exhaust fan. There is a 120mm intake at the front of the case and on the side panel.
I need to change the powersupply and would like to throw a 480 or the like in there, given that the 480 exhausts quite a bit of heat into the case from the underside of the gpu it looks dangerously close to the powersupply for my liking.
Pic 2
Or should i go with an old banger of a case thats sat doing nothing and has a bit more space and the psu would be at the top of the case away from the gpu, but not as good airflow?

This will be the last bit of messing about i need to do, can't do anymore as i am officially broke :(
