SETI@Home News Vol. 132 28th May - 3rd June 2011

Right 3 GPU's back and so far not popped anything this PSU has 4 25amp rails with 840w total on them leaving 240w for rest of system so hope its ok :) Although my CPU is still at stock speed :(

MSI GD80 just non in stock good board for the price too that or the Gigabyte UD5 but more expensive :eek: but depends how many GPUs you want i suppose UD4 is a good inbetweener :)

Lol :D Me I would want the GD80 but don't think I will be getting a socket 1155 upgrade :( damn car more likely to be a 2011 when they pop up :D

Edit: Anyway onwards up from the murky depths of the low numbers hope I don't get the bends from coming up too fast :D :D :p

I suppose the question is with a z68 chipset and teh onboard gpu hd graphics doing the desktop stuff how much of a performance increase could we expect as then the discreet gpu's would be 100% seti wit no desktop stuffing things to do dah .... you dig? :)

Turning fans around is fine. Just don't try it with a Delta! (those were the days - and yes, I've still got one of the beasts)

Something still not right with downloads, one machine completely out of work sigh :(
 
Its progress with the pc at least (you can make up for the fact one of mine will not download) and the car well blimey you must get sick somedays :(
 
Sick would be the word, The amount of dents I have put in it out of pure frustration gonna cost more to remove them :( But not giving up after a year and half of getting it done but might not make any shows again this year at this rate :( Just hope my rig stays in one bit :D :D
