SETI@Home News Vol. 132 28th May - 3rd June 2011

Expensive too (they left both cameras to burn up after taking the pictures - thankfully remembering to remove the memory cards first). Still peanuts in space race terms, mind. :)

Your welcome k3v, i should say you got a mention with a gtx580 that shoud be good for at least.... 38000 when it levels out hopefully more!
Henry the springer spaniel you liked passed away at the weekend :(

Sorry to hear about your dog, not nice...

38000 sounds good, plenty of headroom, im no where near that output at the minute.

Thanks k3v, yeah it does take some time for the output to level out, between that and seti having server problems it'll take a while but a nice card none the less :)

Well am about half way through a re jigging of crunching arrangements :)
By the time i am done i should be able to maintain output for seti at around 90,000 per day but have been itching to do a little folding on the dark side so hopefully that'll be up n running by tommorrow.
Given that i have the attention span of a flea i figured it would be easier to just say right 2 rigs 1 for each project rather than constantly having to mess with settings to account for another project.
Am not desserting so peanuts gallery comments will be ignored (yes i am looking at you Mr Marine :p;):D)
But true to form i opted for a change of cooling and am going to try a coolermaster v6 and dang these things need scaffolding .... this should have been a 2 man job :)
