For those of you who have yet to update your lunatics optimised apps version 0.38 is available and does make a measureable difference to completion times - don't delay download today!

Congratulations to our tiffy winners this week Mr hamesy is now a multi millionaire and Mr Reavers 25,000,000 .... word has it he's still in the wc well done all.
Mr BaBa has hooked his mains supply upto a nuclear power station and looks set to surge past the lot of us at a rate of speed eye popping output this week very well done.

Seti seemed all over the place at the start of the week for those that operated on a small cache and those who had run out of work it was darned near impossiblle to crunch. I donated a tad to Folding@home and i would suggest that everyone finds a backup project for when the going gets tough .... very annoying but hey it happens.

I got an email lecture on how the news ought to be done ..... they are now blocked and it set me thinking. Have asked multiple times, i know everyone has there own lives and commitments but what does it take to get you guys to have a play with photoshop and the like to grace us with some new graphics? I know there must be a few of you well versed in shall we say "genetically enhancing" what you were born with ... please feel free to turning your talents to the graphics update.
Yup with anyluck if there is more than a few we can take a general vote and the best design gets a prize am sure there's something around here that i can drop in the post :)

So as of today work seems to be coming back down and hopefully we can crack on and get a full week in, thanks to everyone thats contributed this week.

Got a cracking headache now so am going to cut the news short and go horizontal :)

Cheers for the news T, what sort of graphics are you after, the section titles?

I actually had a pretty good week this week, but it probably won't show until next week.

Hope your headache goes soon :)

Your welcome as allways sah, yeah the section titles would be great wherever it mentions top this that and t'other if we made it a 100 then near enough everyone would be mentioned in the news then :D
Thanks for anything you could contribute - dont delay post your entry today (or thereabouts) :)

thanks for the news. I'm afraid that although I'm a draughtsman I have no artistic flair whatsoever. want some paint stick man graphics doing?

Thanks for the news Toxic. Don't mention headaches:( Some may know of my ssd woes, which are hopefully resolved now but gave me plenty need to resort to drugs.

Q I have upgrade the Lunatics app to 38 & to latest nVisia drivers. Boinc now shows gpu tasks as cuda_fermi. Every so often I get a computation error which borks something as card is still running same 70-80% but temp drops 20C & time to completion go up 5 fold. Have to reboot. Card is overclocked to 925 core 1850 shader 2150 mem This runs F@H without problem @ 100%.
If I drop to 921/1842/2150 cuda units run without issue:confused: [stock volts on card]. Should I just run the cuda wu's on the lower setting?

Thanks for the news Tbag :)

I have photoshop but I ain't no good at making new stuff only photo shopping for comedic effect :p

My rig is going ok nothing special still at stock can't be bothered to overclock it any more :(

Sorry mate, can't help you with graphics as I have the artistic skills of the average cave man

In the meantime, since you drew up the stats I've done a bit more work and splashed out on this:

Morning Mr Pilgrim sah!
Yes just run on the lower settings its a pain fiddling between 2 projects but its all good work, odd that you would have to lower clocks for seti i have allways found that i need to lower the clocks for f@h as its quick to throw a hissy fit on higher clocks  Still as long as it works, your keeping both projects on the go and we need all the points we can get to catch Boinc Synergy. Have a good weekend :)
This dodgy ssd bug is catching mine committed harry carry overnight .... another 5am re install lol .... good job i love my seti :D

Well at least your honest, as it happens we coud do with a bit of comedy too its very quiet in here lately.
Wether it be at stock or not at least the rigs working now get your lazy behind into updating the drivers and lunatics, it'll take 10 minutes of your time and your output will improve "me swears". Not like you to be off the boil too many late nights "polishing your chrome lad" ;):)

:eek: Thats not just an achievement thats showing off in the grandest of styles a gobsmacking 40,000,000 tiffy you ought to be rightly proud of that .... so many zero's i thought my keyboard would run out ... many congratulations Mr Meridian sah!:D

Nice work Meridian

I'll update one day I just can't be bothered really :(

My car is all back together and will be starting it back up today if all goes to plan then I will hopefully have some free money for myself for once and I'll be a happier person once again :)

Glad the motor is all up and running don't take offence its just me having a dig :) I felt like that earlier in the week when my average was dropping like crazy but you just have to soldier on .... just think of your next stomp :D

:D 19 days :) my outputs been so abyssmal boinc stats can't even give me an estimate on the odds of me catching Mr Meridian sah .... about 2 years i reckon at todays output lol :D:D
Top down on the motor, drive in the country, stripper on each arm plenty of shiny chrome - you'll be right come tonight :)
