:D Tis done Mr eggcup sah, i thought your output was on the up!
Mr edgedemon has taken the 2011 hex core route i believe and i am thinking the same not 100% decided .... but untill we see the pics do we believe him ;):)

Hint! Hint!

Ive always been GPU assisted lol, just started leaving my pc on longer, and actually using lunatics which helps a lot. :)

Ta for the news Toxic - appreciated S'ah
Respect to Mr Marine - Thank you and never say never mate, you can always come back anytime you want..

Is now the time to say that Im taking all my credit over to the gpu users group :D:eek:

Yeah, have my eye on kepler, but I don't think the high end cards are due to Q3/Q4, GK104 is meant to be the mid range..

lol - started a build log, will post some more pics tonight, still trying to get a stable overclock as I keep coming back from work to find it has rebooted due to having crashed.
Still not pushing it to the limit yet as Im running with 8 cores at 100% and 2 tasks on my GTX 470, but I do have to say that when it is crunching it is like **** off a shovel, it really flies. It is responsible for my jump in output this week :D

Bought a large monitor yesterday, now all I need to do is save for the watercooling bits and decide whether to take another 470 out of my crunching rig and go SLI or kepler, or take the 480 out the cruncher, buy another and go SLI.

Thats the good thing about having a crunching rig stuffed with gpu's, gives me plenty of options for my home rig

The gpu users group bit was a joke before I get lynched :p

So there i was, plotting my next move ivybridge sandybridge xeonness when i came across this ..... should i even bother upgradeing untill we have figured out wether it will impact? 16,700 miles is way to close for comfort all we need is for amd to start blowing hot air and bammmmmm trajectory altered ..... direct hit.

There again we could just carry on as normal and not forget to make up a few extra spam sarnies the night before ..... just in case :)

Dons tin hat... now pass the butties around please, I'm a bit peckish. :p

"1 day to dispense with the Czechs" or should that read "Czechs are being phased out bout time too"

I suppose that would be Czech mate then?

Thanks for the news TT:)

Great stomp guys, looking a little stompy over at CPDN should only be a few days to overtake team United Kingdom:D

Ive moved my HD5970 out of an ubuntu rig back onto windows 7 seems to have given a 50% performance boost on the opencl work units(200 to 300k):)

Anybody got numbers for a 7970 7950 on milkyway?

Edit : Looks like we will get to UK No.1 in milkyway this month go team:D
