I've been intending to upgrade my GPU just for crunching, so come April with the mid-range Kepler (Aiming for the GTX 660), I'll be using it for things related to it's namesake (SETI, Einstein, Milkyway)

Also, if you want me to up production, I wouldn't mind going full on SETI. I have a total of about 550 RAC between all 3 projects, 70 of which SETI.

Any contribution you can make to seti would be appreciated, while its a good idea to see what prices kepler comes in at, it may be as well to see what effects it has on the 4 or 5 series gpus could work out well if you are on a budget. :)

I've got the money sorted for a 660 already, but I will have a look at the other ones because of the mass impact on prices (I have been thinking of it myself)

EDIT: Was looking at the overtake and stuff. We need some serious bolstering of production.

Aye the stats cannot even predict the length of time for the next team stomp:eek: I am holding out for kepler pricing and fingers crossed i can get 3 mid range cards if they are too pricey and there are any of the 480's left well that might be an idea :)
 
Meh, I don't have tons of money. 1 midrange (Highend if I could afford it) is my only option anyway because my Mobo doesn't seem to support SLI (1x PCI-E x16, not 2 :()

EDIT: SETI doesn't seem to be giving me any work :(

EDIT 2: Nevermind. Got 7 more WUs

Even though i have switched most of my processing over to Rosetta (at least until i get a million) I still managed to get another tiffy..

You probably wont get a better deal than the 480's at the moment, stonking card for that price..

?? didn't you just sell some 570's? Which are cooler 480's
 
um what is this meant to mean.... Message from server: Your app_info.xml file doesnt have a usable version of Astropulse v6?
