I would certainly say disable sli if you are going to leave the bridge in place most people would agree with that i thinks .... cmon guys back me up :eek::D
 
Good grief nah i am ok with 3 pin plugs thats where my electrical knowledge ends, so after you have the shows out of the way are you going to sell your gpus and get something cheaper to run and rejoin the rat race? :)

Good to "see" you hows things going? Are you getting some good output from the 7970 yet that would be interesting to know :)

I had saved me pennies and sold on some stuff expecting to go all out on Kepler but as price "hints" and the like seem to be heading northward i caved and got a 3930k x79 mobo and some new memory. The sr-2 is on the backburner for another month or 2 and am bitterly dissapointed the new sr-x can only do locked down xeons at present ..... or if you felt like giving it a try apparently it will run 1 sandybridge -E wheres the sense in that i ask :confused: :D
So i might take advantage of a full house of those rather cheap gtx 480's which should see my output head on up again .... now i know they are refference design a few blocks and bosh i will set my sights on Mr Reaver for starters ;):D
 
Not managed to get my hands on a 7970 just yet, works looking a bit dodgy so dont want to spend any cash at the mo:(

Looks like i could muscle my way upto No.2 in cpdn over the next few days parp to nedsram-cdl:D
 
Is anyone else having issues getting WUs? I haven't got a single one over the past few days :/


I already added AP v6 and SETI v7 to my prefs too.

EDIT: Disregard that. I just got few WUs xD

Also, can I be put onto the single PC league? I might get an amazing 10th (According to boincstats, 151 RAC, and 1,369 credit/week)

Nice tiffys everyone, well done on the 1st million Pumpkin, I was looking at doing something similar, as Im not that far off my first mill, but then I noticed br83taylor seems to have woken from his slumber, so Im keeping my gpu's on seti for a while as I have grown to like 5th place and want to keep the nearly 2 million gap between us :D:D

On another note, I have just stuck my 990x in my pc, replacing my old I7 920, now I have noticed that the more cpu units i run there more my gpu usage decreases, where as before i could run all cpus full bore with no detremental effects to the gpu, is there any way to solve this?
 
Stupid question but I assume you still have CPU and GPU set to 100% usage and "run always" in the settings?

Would also be worth checking the event log to see if that gives you a clue.

yes i did have it at 100%, i experimented with processor usage though, and i set my cpu to 25% use and my gpu then worked at 100% useage, but i was doing some reseach, and apprently Hyperthreading was starving my gpu of cpu power so I turned it off and now everything is awesome again. :) 100% everything.
