Another phenominal week, output climbing steadily and the stats have finally budged off the 365+ days before our next overtake great news!!!

Mr Loudbob continues his amazing output, Stickman is still with us and we all continue to plod on as best we can its starting to feel like we are ready to have a go at the big league or the slacking teams that are helping us gain ground at least.

There's a rumble of something going on at Biffa Bungalows while Dave continues his wait ready to rob the first person with a gtx 560ti. My goings on will become clearer in the next few weeks just waiting on a few things to fall into place and hopefully i can take a pot shot at second place if not its re-runs of the The Sky at Night.

Just got a Galaxy S3.. it recons it will take 7 hours to get 4 milkyway WUs done.

How sad that my phone is so much better than my work laptop :-)

On the outside chance has anyone done windows updates today? I formatted re-installed windows that browser choice is back and i opted for ie9 and the darn thing just will not work. Have tried a restore/reset/followed a you tube guide out of desperation i have had to install google chrome just so i could browse without that infamous "internet explorer has stopped responding" message.
Anyone else had any chew? :mad::(

Internet explorer will open and the home page will load then in a split second its error messages ... pah i shall use chrome till i feel like feretting out the cause .... grumblr grumble moan whinge :(
 
IE is the work of the devil, had similar problems with it years ago and switched to Firefox. Never looked back :D

Probably quicker to format again than spending hours finding a fix.
 
Hi ozaudio

go through your options an click on the required cache 3/5/7/10 days that might work and depending on wether you will be using cpu/gpu for seti or both make sure your preferences support this.
let us know how you get on
 
Well it looks like your prefs are ok sharing between the projects. On that screen highlight seti@home and that will bring up some boxes on the left go to account preferences and make sure gpu cpu is enabled give it a try

i just clicked then transfers tab and noticed it had seti in there , looks like its working?



yes the progress bar is deffantly moving its now at 50% so yes its going!

can you check for my user name on either seti , milkyway or einstein to see if ive made any progress, making any progress , i can t understand it all yet still reading up on it

Yeah thats definately working looks like its downloading the intel 86 cuda .exe something or other, as soon as the transfers are finished you should start getting work units fingers crossed for you!!
