Still, where did you get that NT06 so fast????

He can't tell you prism. Its against the rules of the forums to mention competitors to the OcUk shop.

He got it from a competitor in the UK, if you know how to use Google properly its not hard to find the Silverstone SST-NT06 in stock, but only the one with the fan, the lite version is out of stock at the moment.

Its not the fact that OcUk don't stock the particular item, its that the shop that sells it sells items that OcUk do stock. But good luck, its not hard to find.

Can people please post their speed plus temps?
My E6400 with 1.3v at 3.2GHz does 60C to 64C in idle.
I believe that's a bit high?
I am wondering if my cooling isn't seated properly enough.

Attaching the backplate of the NT06 is very tricky on the G33M-DS2R, because some soldered pins stick out quite far making the backplate dent the board quite a lot.
Not very happy with that tbh.

Update: the 64C is more because it's using CPU power to verify and repair my RAID1 array after is crashed when the VCore was a bit too low apparently.

Update2: It seems to idle between 59C and 62C. Still quite high imo.

The PSU's 120mm fan is sucking though the heatsink.

I have thought about reseating the heatsink.
Problem is I have to take it completely apart as the Intel heatsink push mechanism utterly sucks, so I can only reach it properly with the motherboard out of the case.

Can anyone give me an estimate on how heavy this would weight? I plan to take this to uni and would like to have the ability to take it to LANs or round my girlfriend's yard once in a while.

If you have a proper carrying bag it should be ok, but it ain't light.
Mine is quite full and I put two 2.5" HDD's on the top using eSATA.

I would estimate mine at about 10 to 15KG max.
I don't have a scale at home, so not 100% sure ofcourse.

How wide is the case?

Will an x1900xtx with accelero x2 fit? Like this:

Thanks

Edit: Yes I'm sure it's fine. The case is 200mm wide. The X2 is 120mm wide, leaving 80mm for the mobo and a gap between the mobo and side of the case. Easy.

I have taken my SG03 apart again.
The extra little fan from the M12-500 PSU was sucking/blowing as well and I found the temps just way too high.
I was having graphics problems which turned out to be the card itself, so I might build it back into the SG03 someday again.
Really need to get the temps down though.
