I honestly believe the police were not interested in a conviction.

What a shower of **** the whole escapade was and a shocking waste of money and police resources.

Interesting interview with the mole who leaked these stories in the first place. He admits he was "cultivated" by senior shadow ministers. How is being cultivated different to being groomed? :confused:

Looks like he's been very naive and is probably regretting his actions now.
