Shadow Warrior 2 is first PC game supported HDR & Nvidia Multi-Res-Shading

A single 1080 getting 40ish FPS average at 4k is par for the course. I honestly don't see what's so great about the tech behind the game. If it really did boost performance/framerate, then we'd see single 1080s managing to hold 60. That is unless the chart in the first post is without the MRS feature that supposedly makes everything better. If so, then please make it clearer, since it appears slightly contradictory.

Very odd game this one........running plenty fps on Ultra, but really doesn't appear to be the smoothest out there. Almost like G-Sync isn't working (no display indicator when enbaled etc) ?

I agree, the FPS is high but the game feels juddery, I've read some people saying that G-Sync isn't supported properly with the game yet, someone on guru3d said

"Turn OFF v_sync and triple buffering in game and Turn ON v_sync and triple buffering in nvidia inspector or via drivers"

Cheers lowrider.....might give it a bash after the football tonight.
Just doesn't feel right at all......like running a game on SLI with a bad case of microstutter, except in this case it's on a single GPU which is more than capable of pumping out enough frames.
I know there's a lot being made of how well it runs (numbers-wise), but it's nowhere near 'smooth' enough right now.

Any benches should be run without MRS. It is not an enhancement to the game, it is a partial resolution scaler.

And the chart in question was indeed run without it.

IS that the same as when they said Kepler would fully implement async compute via a driver update? :p

Async Compute on Kepler?

I think you mean Maxwell.

I googled and found a guy frenchpan posted on Reddit owned a GTX 980 Ti ran Shadow Warrior 2 on Sony 2016 XBR-43X800D 4K HDR HDTV had HDR enabled but it looked washed out, Netflix HDR contents worked fine so he later said he managed to fixed Shadow Warrior 2 HDR issue with tweaked gamma brightness.

https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/57djyv/shadow_warrior_2_hdr/

So that confirmed Maxwell supported HDR too.
