After playing it for a few more hours I can see the potential in the game but it could really do with being a lot more refined.

So what skillset does everyone use?

Mine:

RB: Nades
LB: Anti magic nades (stops smoke, spiky wall thingy, summons and enemy trees)
L: laser vision thing

and resurrect and tree on quick cast. The anti magic nades are very underrated.

aye, the guy with the magic grenades really peed me off also :mad:

i kept using glide/teleport to avoid them.

Did i read right that people playing this game on control pads get a huge benefit from auto aiming? So people on 360 playing against PCs would have a better chance to win or can you select auto aim for mouse/kboard for the PC version??

playing with a controller gives you some auto-aim. You can also plug an xbox 360 controller into the pc to get the same auto-aim, but really, I don't feel disadvantaged playing with a mouse and keyboard at-all.

Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages and choosing between a controller and a k/b / mouse to me is analogous choosing a different race at the start of a game. Seem perfectly well balanced though. On top of that one of the tech items in the buy menu gives you added auto-aim.

I'm trying to get my gamertag changed from ZoGgEr (what I chose when I had an xbox) to Zogger. as I don't have an xbox 360 I can't do it in the dashboard. Doesn't seem like anybody has listened to my support requests

. But anyway feel free to add me if anyone needs the cross-plat achievements... Some people (not necessarily here) seem to be a bit obsessed with them. Should be getting a mic soon to replace the one I sat on... on my birthday

Cheers was going to have a look at this for my PC but heard from a few sources that the PC players were at a disadvantage because of this, it always seems unfair which way you have it either for joypad or mouse/ keyboard.

I am enjoying it a lot personally. When I close my eyes I keep seeing the symbol that lets you know someone needs resurrecting.. haven't even played it that much compared to some games. I think graphics on full are a bit nicer on the 360... can't play it on full anyway, get about 25fps. up to 60-70 on mediumish settings

I downloaded the demo for this last night. and had a whirl through the tutorials. I quite liked this game. I will be having a blast against the bots until it comes through as a rental.

As most of you guys will have at least a week on me I will be training hard to figure out the best shizznit to kick arse when I appear on XBL.

In the mean time is there any tips or advice I should use.

In an offensive capacity I am thinking of using Elf Smoke teleport and maybe tree or wall hacks, wired reflexes (Not yet sure which order I will be purchasing these in) Obviously a Katana will be implemented as weapon of choice

In my defensive capacity I would have Troll Mini-gun, Wallhacks,
Then Maybes
Strangle
Tree
wired Reflexes
Laser sight.
