Sharknado!

Ridiculous, terrible and funny at the same time. I think half the fun was from seeing what other people were saying on Twitter, some of the actors were even tweeting the UK viewers which was quite amusing. The chainsaw scene at the end had me laughing a lot too, especially when it just seemed to be going on...and on...and on.

Wonder what the budget was.

IMDB says $1m
God knows how they get that much given the script!

They all seem to basically have the same format. Couple of washed out ex-rehab ex-US soap actors, a busty bird, a natural disaster joined to either a massive animal or thousands of them, terrible direction, terrible camera work, terrible editing, terrible script, terrible CGI :)

Sounds like a winner.

The funniest thing I always find with these cheap movies is that, because they can never seem to afford to close off entire streets or areas, the characters area running around in a mad panic while everyone else goes about their normal business, cars driving past calmly etc. Noticed it in another Asylum one I watched a while back (Monster, I think it was), they'd dubbed in the sounds of sirens, screaming, explosions etc but you could see in the background people just wandering around.

Watched it last night as i had it set to record and what a mess of a movie but for some odd reason i found it quite captivating to watch but in a hilarious way.
