Shaving

*Shudders* meh i watched to many horror movies and read to many books to let anyone near my throat wit ha cutthroat razor!

Honestly it's fantastic, us blokes don't get much chance to be pampered but getting a really good shave is brilliant and I would recommend it. My local barber does a shave, head massage and wet cut for £22 which is pretty good value IMHO. They also take all the fluff off your ears with a burning stick of fire which is a little disconcerting the first time they do it

Ear fluff? You mean the hairs on the outside of your ears, surely it will grow back and in 40 years time look awful?

Yeah that's the stuff, not if you keep going back the barbers it won't as they kill-it-with-fire ;)

Not the cheapest shaving kit but well worth the money :)

Indeed its the best stuff out there at the moment, well for me it is. I used to use the shaving foam one but recently converted over to the shaving oil with soothing menthol and i have to say i no longer get stubble/shaving rash anymore.

I dont particularly like shaving myself but with the job im currently in, i have to be clean shaven so its a bit of a hassle, having to wake up and shave but ive become quite used to it. Also once a month ill go down to the barbers and get a proper wet shave done with a cut-throat...painful yes but in a morbid way its also quite relaxing.

I can't go without shaving for more than about 4 days - it just gets too itchy and drives me mad.

Wish I could though as I have quite sensite skin and a very thick beard, I can't use electric rasors as my beard is so thick it just knackers them.

I usually leave it for a week, then have a 'proper shave' then shave maybe twice a week, I'm only a student so don't have to look my best :p and stubble suits me anyway. *Grunts*

Whilst we're talking about shaving, how do you guys go about shaving your necks?

I have always shaved upwards towards my jaw line, but my brother insists that I should shave downwards as this is against the grain as it were, and results in a closer shave.....but it just don't feel right to me!!

Agree 100%, I use the sensitive skin one in the green tube as I'm a sensitive type a guy. Nothing else I've ever used comes close to this stuff.
