Might have to rethink the gappage then :D

Worst comes to worst I will fix fine mesh sheets over those gaps to stop the bugs if they do decide to loiter!

Solar LED light pair arrived yesterday, left it charging for the 24hrs it wanted and quite impressed for £21 for the pair have to say.

And also some more storage for the DIY side of the interior:

So close to fully complete now :D

That will never be complete untill you have it full of junk and can't get through the door.
At the moment it looks great - hope it lasts. :D

It will never get to the levels of the old side-shed and under stairs cupboards did!

I've probably just missed your link, but do you have a link to those solar lights? I'm quite impressed by them too!

ah yes sure thing, it's these: Deal: Pxwaxpy Solar Lights Outdoor 【286 LED & 2600 Lumen】 Upgraded Solar Motion Sensor Security Light with 3 Lighting Modes, 2500mAh Solar Powered Wireless Waterproof Wall Lights for Outside (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08GM2N..._dl_XQF3493BDX2G2VF14G5P?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for that link. When I last had solar LED lights they had some LEDs on the sides too, but these created a bit of a sweeping sideways light and I didn't want the light in my windows. The lights you have linked to should be idea, as there will be no sideways light.

Do you know what batteries the lights take? I ask because every so often I would take the 18650 batteries out in winter to charge them up.

So far have not had any issues with condensation ans we have had a couple of stormy wet nights as well. There were a few water leaks as expected with these tin sheds but I have sealed these up on both sides with the black Silka Flex. I've strategically left some gaps for airflow as well so will see how that fairs and have only sealed the concrete slabs on the outside areas leaving the inside slabs basiclaly touching each other so air and any remnant moisture can evaporate through the air channel created by the gaps. Will keep monitoring it though of course and update as necessary.
You shouldnt expect it until autumn/winter, then it will be a nightmare, it will literally rain inside the shed on cold frosty nights! My garage was bad enough and that was oduline bitumen sheet roof, metal is worse.

If/when that happens, best solution? Line the outside panels and roof with a material that stops or reduces condensation buildup?

I expect most of your moisture is going to come up through the ground in the wet seasons, so sealing that would be the first step. Then the only thing you can do is insulation and ventilation - since you have power in there you could install a small exhausting fan to encourage air circulation.

I've got two metal sheds and can't say I've ever noticed rain on the inside. They're at my mum's house which I am going to later so I can ask...

I'd hope they don't rain inside as my tool box is in there, along with various expensive bits of DIY kit.

I guess my best course of action is wait until winter and see what happens :p

To be fair, my experience with my own shed metal shed as well were that things got pretty wet, and water pooled over time in plastic containers etc. I didnt realise what was happening in that shed and only noticed in my garage after i had reroofed from OSB to the corrugated sheeting. Ive now insulated my garage roof making sure to leave and air gap. As i use it as a gym i also run a dehumidifier over the winter.

Oh yes forgot about this!

So no issues with condensation to note, but some bare metal items in the shed do see ambient moisture it seems, though other stuff is all fine (stainless). The inner walls seem fine too as there's enough ventilation coming through.

The only problem really seems to be spiders.

Could put one in there, there's power after all, but then the moment you introduce heat you invite more than just spiders :p
