I don't know, but I think it will be. Their follow up games have always been good. M2 was better than the first, napoleon was better than empire. Just can't see them messing it up.

Guys get Shogun 2, it's actually good fun if you take the time to get into it. I started out on easy as it was my first proper playthrough of a TW game, and I'm pretty hooked, and I got the rest of the TW games as a result.

Campaigns are interesting, unit variety exists but sometimes you will feel it's limited because you sort of start in a similar situation as most factions. Online play is fun, both coop and versus campaign/battles.

I usually go back to it once I'm bored of other games

Well I love the Genre - All Civ games, Call to Power 1 + 2, SMAC, Shogun 1, Rome Total War ....

But all the other total wars were 100% suckage.

Funny you should say that, Medieval 2 with mods was the best from the series.
