Shoplifting...

Was she black? As all black people are criminals...

i once bought a £7 kettle from ASDA, and happened to lose my receipt on the way out. so i was walking out of ASDA and the security alarms went off, the security guy asked for my receipt and i was looking everywhere but still couldn't find it. he saw a HSBC cash withdrawal receipt in my bag and said 'just show me any receipt and i'll let you go'

I stole a milky bar when I was younger, I don't steal now.

People change :p

Really??...i mean i didnt turn to a life of crime seeing as i was caught shoplifting when i was a youngster...i must have been about 14 or 15 when i was caught...sure i got taken to the police station where i was cautioned with my dad by my side but instead of turning to a life of crime i ended up learning a very valuable lesson...crime doesnt pay....but hey carry on with your stupid generalisations though.
Same for me......once was enough to put me off :)

I stole a pack of chocolate bars from Sainsburys when I was 6 or 7, didnt get caught but my mum found out when we got home, so she took me back to the shop and made the manager take me to his office and tell me off :(. Havent done it since :p

I can't tell if you're on the wind up or if you're actually serious...

Aaah I see, people who steal things from shops are not criminals? :p

I mean come on, she actually walked into a shop and thought it would be a good idea to try and pinch some clothing. Who would do that? Why would you want to waste your time with somebody with thought processes that dim?

I mean nicking stuff from shops? With electronic tags? Come on!

I meant the "that is all she is now" part. So that's it for her? Game over? Once a criminal always a criminal never to be trusted again etc?

It's fun to make stuff up, isn't it? :)

she got into my car, said she didn't know why she did it and burst into tears. the police gave her a fine of £80 and said she was banned from going into the store again.

don't know why it took 2.5hrs.. but i trust she won't be doing that again.. she was lucky the police only gave her a £80 fine.

Do you want to apologise now? Idiot.

Police fail yet again.

Same here :o. The worst part about it was when my Mum turned up at the station and i could see the dissapointment in her face.

Not sure why you wish to keep company with criminals
Because they might still be nice people who wouldn't do you any harm ?
If your best mate tells you he's nicked a can of deo from the supermarket, he suddenly isn't supposed to be your friend any more?

Police won't do anything. If she's unlucky she'll be taken down to police station - otherwise they'll have a quick word and let her go if she doesn't have a record. Pathetic policing system for the win!

Not so sure. A friend of a friend got done for half-inching a coat from a shopping centre before Christmas. Got prosecuted and was ordered to pay a fine of some sort at court.

EDIT: Ah, just read rest of thread. Should have before I posted I guess. :p

is she fit?

I don't see these typical questions in here! This is GD after all.
