1c and 2c coins have been a thing of the past in Australia for longer than I've been here (2006). Everything is rounded up or down to the nearest 5c but a pound was worth $2.50 back then, half that now.
Pre-covid they used to have a little tray with 5c pieces in them on the desk at petrol stations. If you put $50.03 in your car you could take one, if it was $49.97 you could leave one.
