Should I buy MW3??

IMO I think that is only a question you can answer. Try it out first, rent it or at a friends and see what you think.

Me being an fps lover, i'll be buying it to see what the hype is all about.

I would not if im totally honest, or hold off for afew days from buying it. I followed the CoD series pretty closely up untill MW2. Today I watched afew feature videos on the weapons and this "Elite" thing (pretty much exactly like battlelog). This elite thing uses facebook intergration and Ive also heard it will cost a monthly sub somewhere down the line. But im not 100% on this.

The engine is still the same from MW2 and 1? Plus its the same old game.

Someone i know who seams to get things wrong a lot of the time says its built on the crysis 2 engine, is that tru?

Oh and there is more chance of me going to a gay club with the intention of getting DP'ed than me paying for this game.

They haven't updated the engine for years and the price keeps going up, milking it whilst they can it annoys the hell out of me.

The trouble is so many people will buy it at this inflated price it will allow them to do it again! £40 for a pc game? No. Plain and simple just no. There is absolutely no need for it other than grabbing the ££. Dev costs can't be very high considering they have changed nothing!
Then theres the monthly sub which I am sad to say will probably work for them because enough people will buy it then it will become something of the future again something I am not keen on.
Getting basic game ideas at a steeper cost and not much else in return (have they taken business ideas from Apple??).

Greed greed greed.

Almost always should you wait for reviews, listen to friends, read user experiences on forums...then part with the cash. ;)

We all know the review sites will make it out to be amazing tho, its as if they are paid to do so, which wouldn't surprise me.
If it gets better than bf3 I will be so annoyed.
