Hey, been accepted for a 3rd interview last Thursday. This was the email I got

Hi Jamie,

Thank you for visiting us today, it was very nice to meet you.

I want to let you know that we would like to invite you for the third interview with the Development Support Manager, who is currently on holiday. She will be coming back and I will then discuss with her when she is available. So I will contact you next week to make an appointment. If you have in the meantime any questions for me, just give me a shout

Kind regards,

Now I would have thought they would have contacted me by now... Should I email and ask?

Yes, they state they will contact next week but haven't yet and if you have a question, then ask!

Although I'd wait until Friday morning.

Ok she's now emailed me and we've set a date. Now could anyone explain this
Perfect Jamie, I will book a visitor parking space for you and see you at 11.00am. Just ask for me at reception.

The interview is that you meet Sally and we will ask you to do an aptitude test. This will not be a technical test, so you do not have to prepare anything for this.

See you next week

It's a development support/ Anaylist, mainly troubleshoot and bug fixes and stuff. So what would the test be on? I hate tests :(

An aptitude test will either:

- Test your ability to deal with numbers quickly and accurately.
- Or you will be asked to read short passages of writing and then answer questions assessing your comprehension of the text. These tests assess your ability to think constructively.
- You may get some diagrammatic reasoning questions which are designed to assess your logical reasoning ability. The questions measure your ability to infer a set of rules from a flowchart or sequence of diagrams and then to apply those rules to new situation.

That is basically it. If you are of slightly above average intelligence they will be a doddle. They are good fun as well. :)
