Diagro, you got lucky, there could have just as easily been a 6 hour wait with you not given priority.
To be fair hospital A&E times can vary hugely from time to time.
Hey.
I'm back. A&E Was empty. I was booked in a seen within 10 mins.
I was then prodded, and yup its painful.
Anyway, Xrayed it, and i chipped the bone (Tiny chip). Hence the swelling and pain.
Was just told to take some Paracetamol alongside my Codeine and it should heal sooner rather than later.
People saying i was wasting A&E time... well that's how i felt, until i was seen, xrayed and out within 90mins! It was a 5 min drive away. Now I'm back at work.

Walk it off you big pansy.
Hurts foot + In pain = Quick the internetz
Seriously can't people think for themselves anymore and need a forum to discuss it first?
Dont forget, pretend not to speak English, and look a little trampy to jump the line.
If they need to x-ray it's a&e yeah, walk in centers dont likely have that kit

coolio, so i guess the advice is to only smash your ankle on certain days![]()

Surrey is posh though - you also probably were given quails eggs and fois gras whilst waiting![]()
I say use a minor injuries or "walk in" clinic instead of a and e.
