2.8ghz? lucky so and so!!
Nah I purchased my through work from a supplier, get some discount and work cover the VAT for me
Just need to go and see them and collect it today, will get some pic's up too once I have set it up. I'm a switcher so really looking forward to using this after spending lots of time with XP and Vista (x64)

Can't wait for the backlit KB as I tend to surf and send mails whilst lasying in bed in the evening (not good for sleep I know) so having the light off will make the missus happy

There is a 17" behind the mammoth! The 2.8 is a 15". Physically there not much different dimensions wise.
The screen on the Unibody is amazing! The LED backlit display really makes a big difference! So much brighter!

just popped the box....looks lovely......Well got home and unboxed the new MBP!!
I'm so pleased with it, the keyboard is a pleasure to use, the screen is stunning, my work (Lenovo T60P) laptop screen look absolutely terrible after using this for 5 minutes, even flicking through facebook pictures is a real eye opener.......lol
Trackpad scrolling etc is smooth as you like...
I can see me roasting windows when at home from now on....very very happy

One thing though! Get Adium! The microsoft messenger you are using is terrible!
Also get Perian and Flip4Mac.

Cool got Adium installed thanks will have a look at the others shortly....
Adium is great as you can mould the look of it's appearance to suit you!
Well just a quick note so say I'm loving my new MBP - Will upgrade the ram in the new year but it's such a nice bit of kit to use, OSX is dreamy....!!!! Everything works perfectly and smooth as anything.....
