Well my dad is going to start rebuilding my stepmom's corrado, which was stolen over a year ago and parts taken off it (quite a lot really) and it has been at his garage ever since. My dad is now going to rebuild it and sell it on.

Now I dont know whether I should ask him if i could buy it off him, sell the Corsa and try and insure the Corrado?

What are your opinions on this matter, and if the Corrado is a good car to go for?

Get some insurance quotes mate :)

tbh id much rarther have a Corrado over a corsa no matter its age ;)

High insurance group, only worth all the hassle if your over 25.

Erm I'm 19 and in a couple of months i'll be able to insure the VR6, G60 or 16v for under a grand.

Really, well I guess it depends a lot on the area your in and the ncb. That sounds excellent to me, those are grp17?

2ncb, S40 postcode so whatever that ranks. The only cars that I can't insure cheaply are integra type r's and elises which is what I want for my next car :(

You might be able to insure it, how long is it to your 1NCB? If it isn't too long it could be worth waiting for that.

I guess its the 1.8?

What a cult car from the 90's with fantastic engines and superb handling?

I wouldn't class the engines as fantastic and I'm pretty sure I could find a cheaper alternative car with better engine/handling characteristics.

The VR6 only interests me and that's going on people's opinions, the G60 bored me tbh.

by all accounts the vr6s drink like there is no tommorow, and thats when theyre running correctly. id love one, but couldnt justify the drinking costs :(
