Should I upgrade my 3060 ti FE to a 4070?

I can get a 4070 for around £520 and probably sell my 3060 ti and recoup some cash.
My CPU is the 5600x and I have 32GB of RAM.

The reason I am pondering this upgrade is that I have a VR headset on the way (Pico4) and want to get better performance. I have read that the 4070 is around a 40-50% performance increase on the 3060 ti.
Is it worth the upgrade?

Also, just to add, I am size bound for the card. The max I can fit into my SFF case is a card of similar size to the 3060ti FE (<250mm). So a 4070 ti may be a better upgrade path, but it just won't fit in my case so I have to rule it out. I have seen MSI have a dual fan variant, but I don't think we can get it in this country (+ it's really expensive).

you never know tbh, gradually lower price and see, or the highest prices is fleabay, but that a risk, ive never had issue selling my gpu on there, but you hear so many horror stories

Yeah personally would never sell items on the bay. Too many scammers around. Would rather sell for £10-20 less on MM and be sure the transaction is headache-free

I would do this if I had the option, but a 3080 would not fit in my case (Metis Plus)
That case says you're limited to a 170mm card so I doubt even a 4070 is going to fit unless you can find a single fan variant.

It does fit, just unofficially (with the drive cage removed and the front IO panel removed). Right now I am running a 3060ti which is much longer than 170mm.
