Should I upgrade to win 7 from xp for my gaming?

Get x64 it's more future proof for hardware

ok well they are 79.99 here. I think maybe they should be aware that they are much more expensive than competitors?

I read you can do an ''upgrade'' when you install win7?

this means it keeps all your files such as my documents? and just changes xp to win7?

No because you are on a 32bit Windows XP. You cannot upgrade from 32 to 64, just clean install.

Thanks I guess you can run 32 bit xp on 64 systme>

In fact I think maybe this was vista 64 when I bought it off my freind. I never chekced but it was defo on VISTA. and I hated it so put an old copy of xp in after like 2-3 days lol.

if you go windows 7 always go for 64 bit (if you have an old PC that can't handle 64 bit then windows 7 really isn't a good option stick with XP)
or just stay with XP anyway like i do

what about the dual core e2180 is that 64 bit aswell because its not listed on the intel website.

I don't know about the one that's not listed on the Intel website, this one is 64 bit though.
