I have been finding it hard to decide whether to upgrade and what to...

Ive currently a Xbox 360 but I am wanting to buy the new COD game but I keep thinking should i go and get a upgrade to a Xbox One or PS4 that comes bundled with it.. A few people have said go and get a PS4.

What you guys reckon...

Upgrade last gen is too slow now. Both consoles are good, depends on what games you want to play(exclusives) and what your friends play on!

I think now is the perfect time to step up. I brought the ps4 at launch and regretted the rush for the first few months probably longer, but now its getting loads of use compared to earlier in the year. I cant speak for xb1 but you will see many different opinions etc on each but if you have a 360 and live account with mates on that platform, the xb1 may be your best bet

I would get the console which has the exclusives you prefer. A couple of months ago I was quite bored with my PS4 as there was not many games I liked but I'm loving the console now as we have entered that time of year when loads of games are released.

Cant speak for the xbone but the ps4 menu system is easy to navigate and everything is smooth and fast. (apart from messages which seems to be a bit slow for some reason presently)

Both consoles are pretty much the same, just pick which has the controller, features (both will probably end up with the same) and exclusives that you prefer.

Isn't the PS4 meant be better Graphic wise or isnt it really noticeable?

Also what I think I like about the PS4 is it smaller neater and no stupid power brick

After seeing a graphical comparison of GTA V on both the XBOX One and PS4 it is clear, for that game at least, what is the most powerful console, the PS4:

Major Exclusives:
PS4
Last of Us Remastered
Driveclub
Killzone
Infamous
Little BigPlanet 3
Preorders:
Uncharted 4
Bloodborne
The Order: 1886

Very strong line up, Bloodborne will sell consoles on its own I reckon.

XBOX One
Halo CC
Forza Horizon 2
Sunset Overdrive
Dead Rising 3
Titanfall
Ryse
preorders
Halo 5
Fable Legends
Quantum Break
and you can also buy EA Access for £20 per year you get these games. Battlefield 4, Plants vs Zombies, Fifa 14, madden and others for free, plus early access to new EA games.

Technically the PS4 is superior, and it has got Bloodborne exclusively, almost reason enough to go PS4, but XBOX One has already got great exclusives and has awesome ones coming up.

The XBOX network is much better then the playstation one, but Live isn't as good value as Playstation Plus.

I have both, but do prefer my xbox pad over the playstation one... I'd go XBox.

Thank you for your write up on this... You says the PS4 is Superior but still say you would go for Xbox why that pls?

I just seem more to the PS4 at the moment but some part of me keep saying Xbox One..

The gamepad is a big plus to me, it's far too easy to hit R2 and L2 by mistake on the PS4 pad. But that is personal preference.

I love Halo, which is another plus. I want the best next gen driving game, and that is Forza Horizon 2.

The Future. Quantum Break looks awesome and so does Fable Legends. Then we have the Master Chief coming back for Halo 5, the Halo CC is an awesome package to get you up to speed with the Halo universe.

The whole XBOX experience, essentially the use interface of the XBOX is much better the the PS4 interface imo. The ability to customize your avator and play in game using them is cool too, just need Texas Hold'em now.

My opinion only. I'm sure you'll be chuffed with either.

Do you play online with mates? If so, then buy the console that they play on.

Do you want to play any of the exclusive titles on each console? For example:

Forza Horizon - get an XB1.

The Last of Us - get a PS4.

If you want to play both then buy both!

Simples.

I have friends on both ha ha. I got a 360 had it a few years. Love it.

I just tend like the slim non brick PS4 but that not everything I suppose. Is drive club any good.

Trying find a you tube of ps4 and Xbox one dashboard see different.

I've had a PS4 on loan for a month or so. There are some good deals, but for me I think I'll wait for a hardware revised version and or the death of the previous gen. Hopefully by that time titles will be more nextgen optimised across the board.

IMO...More intuitive interface, faster better looking games, sleeker hardware, much better controller, better exclusives, easy to upgrade the HD, integrated power supply.
