Show me your crumpet

Tried a few toppings, but toasted cheese on toasted crumpet is my favourite, with lashings of black pepper, a sprinkling of pink salt, plus a dash of Worcester sauce.

I'd add it has to be warburtons crumpets too. Far too often i try out fancier looking ones (I'm looking at you Waitrose sourdough crumpets), and they're just never as good.

Yep, Warburtons won the eat well for less crumpet test, and that was done by the WI. That lot are experts when it’s comes to a baked good.
 
Always both for me. Same with nutella on toast.

Although i would also do butter and peanut butter which my wife thinks is weird.

Basically, butter on everything!
 
Butter, just butter.

You don't spread it on either, you simply grab the block of butter from the fridge and drop it on the top of the crumpet.
 
Peanut butter and strawberry jam.

I have also succumbed to the posh sourdough crumpet only to be disappointed. Nothing beats the Warburtons crumpet.

3 or 4 at a time :)
