R B, thats a beautiful boa cross, where did you get him from?
How old is he on there? looks rather young.

I love all the rest of your animals as well.
I have 2 adult corn snakes but have always wanted a royal python or something simular of that look.
I have wanted a Mexican red knee tarantula for a while as well but unfortuantely the girlfriend is scared s**tless of them :p

I've always loved Frogs :) Awesome - how much attention do they require to keep, and can you actually make them tame so they don't freak out and try jumping away each time you want to handle them? (Great pic btw)

around 4-5 months old in that picture. he has not grown much since but once he moves from small mice to double smalls or medium/large he should start sprouting.

got him local - 'second hand'. He's a beauty, lovely light grey colour with a nice pink stripe - very little black specks. people seem to have mixed feelings on crosses though. they produce nice animals, but you cannot breed them they tend to sell for very little because of this.

the guy we got him off regrets selling it- always offering to buy him back.

Royals are really sweet snakes mate, but I'd have a boa over a royal or corn any day. they seem to have the best nature of em all... just they can get a bit large :)

get the spider lol! they never need to come out of the tank really. nothing to be scared of. I've been thinking about getting something similar, but everytime I look into them I end up looking at mantids instead :D

the frogs are cool mate, I did a lot of research into them before getting them.
They should be considered as display animals only to be honest. you can handle them if you need to (for cleanining, maintenance on tank etc) but it should be avoided. you Can't get them out to play with like snakes.

their upkeep is pretty strict, humidity, temperature and photoperiods need to be kept right. They're one of the harder frogs to care for but once you have it all setup it's fine.

They also sleep ALL day and do not move untilt he lights are out. so you never really see them. Red light does not bother them though, so the tank is illuminated at night with red lights so you can watch them hunt and move around. even at night they're not very active. if I turn the lights on though - it's froggy bed time; they just shut their eyes.

there are other frogs that are much easier to keep and a lot more active; whites and american green tree frogs are cool, so are fire bellied toads. Dart frogs are hard to keep but theyre extremly active! I was going to get darts before I got the red-eyes but the size and quantity (tiny and tons) of food items they go through was not suitable.

I have loads. 1 BCC/BCI (not sure, too big for BCI, too small for BCC, could be a cross, named Talulah)
a costa rican BCI (Safira)
a western hognosed snake (Chiquitita - don't ask me, mum named her)
a royal python (Cleo)
two jcp's (Aleera and Matari)
a king snake (splendida, called Sol)
and two bearded dragons (Yin and Bebe) :D

I don't have many pics, and they're pretty rubbish quality, but I'll post what I can find.

Bebe (when we got him)

Yin (as a baby - he's fully grown now)

All the pictures are old, and they're all a lot bigger now. I'll have to get some new snaps. I would LOVE a burm or an iguana, but I don't have the room (or the money for a dwarf burm). I do plan on getting a green tree python soon though. I have a perfect empty vivarium for one.

Cool Iggy! I would love to own one myself but I don't have a spare room to keep one in :p

I used to have a Royal Python, Corn Snake and a Leopard Gecko but had to get rid of them unfortunately :(
