How have you done that?
There was a documentary on thursday night about people who have lived there for years, have businesses and employ Amricans but still can't get a Green Card.

I married an American girl, came over with a K1 visa, married and then applied for a 'change of status' to remain here.
I think what there is a bit of confusion over permanent residency and citizenship. I have permanent residency, not citizenship, that requires years of work. I will (hopefully
) get citizenship, and as you say, not everyone gets it, but for now permanent residency is what I have, if I break any laws then I can be deported, never to come back

Not at the moment, used to play for Bristol Addiction and then ran our Uni team for a couple years before passing on the torch. Taking a break from competetive play due to funds (or lack thereof). Still pretty solid in the snake though if I do say so myself

Snap, got mine in the post yesterday, took exactly 1 month from entering the states to getting it in my hand
except mines an IR1.

Wow, mine took somewhat longer (due to needing to get married and all that kerfuffle) 6/7 months after entry, but for me it was the best way.
The already legally married spouse way is another way of doing it, hope it went well for you
