Show off your 5090s thread!

With the power limit/OC I've got set up it tops out around 70C on the GPU and 86C on the memory. Pulls ~435W total board power and comes within 1-2fps of stock in Cyberpunk/Wukong benchmarks.

Coil whine is pretty bad at stock but with the undervolt I can only hear it if I mute the game and actively try to seek it out with my ear to the case.
Thanks for the response. I'm surprised temps are still that high. Perhaps lots of reviewers hit their temps in an open bench setup which masked thermal performance. Do you know what those two temps were at 575w in the same benchmarks - c.73+c and 90+c i'm guessing....

Just done a run at full stock settings. At the end of the Wukong benchmark GPU was on 76C and Memory at 96C. It's a spicy boy.

Wow, thank you for running that. Those really are some vindaloo temps. Do you have a thread in this forum with your build setup? If not, what case and fan set up are you running?
You may have just killed my remaining desire for a 5090 FE (AIBs are too big for my current case).

Corsair 5000D Airflow. 3 intake fans at the front, one exhaust at the rear. 240mm AIO is exhausting at the top.

Should probably stop derailing the thread now, it's gotten very offtopic and I'm sure the 1000s of other people with 5090s will be along to post pictures of them soon ;) If you've any other questions feel free to drop me a PM!

Genuine question: all the 5090s are going to generate the same amount of heat at the same wattage, right? Or more or less.

The ‘GPU temp’ etc. is a product of the components, wattage + cooling that’s applied, rather than the total amount of heat being produced.

With the AM5 CPUs being capable of running much hotter than CPUs of old, to what extent do these high temps really matter in modern cards?

Sorry! I'm just very curious about irl 5090 FE temps from an actual customer. Thank you for answering all my questions!

Seeing so many FE 5090 models in here is kind off showing that people are not willing to pay the crazy high AIB prices of £2,400 to £3,0000

Or there been a lot more FE versions of the 5090 available to buy vs third party ones

Just wait till my big chocker enters the chat this evening. It will be taking the place of my funsize 4090 Suprim.

Here's mine...had no intention of trying to get a 5090 on release but my mate managed to bag one and offered it to me at cost, to which I couldn't refuse.

Package #333 of 360.
