Yeah as Diggsy said it's plenty good enough for a single 4870, and if you need more then do as a lot of others here have done and add something like a Kama Bay into the 5.25" bays for added cooling.

not sure should i post this here but there are a lot of fortress builds here. any one removed one of thier hdd caddys and not using it? i would really like to take it off your hands and use it on a project. will pay postage. thanks.

Sorry for the craptastic iphone pic.
Any plans to replace the optical drive? As waiting to see how OcUK brushed aluminium slot loading ROM looks in a case. That's if you don't need any optical writing ability.

Nope, no plans yet. This is only my LAN pc so there isnt much need to have a blu-ray drive in it. Also the drive in the picture looks like it doesnt match due to the flash on the camera. In RL it goes a lot better.

Thought I'd give a little update on my Fortress as I've changed quite a few things since I last put pics up, earlier in the thread.
First off, I've sprayed the original screws that hold the window on to the side panel black.
I've moved on to the i5 platform and I'm also using a Prolimatech Megahalems and some Enermax fans.
I've also purchased a 5850 and added some aftermarket cooling to it. The stock cooler is good and does the job well, but I found that the fan on the cooler made an annoying buzzing sound even though it was relatively quiet. I decided to add a Thermalright T-rad2 GTX, which required a small amount of modification to fit. I'm using the stock base plate to cool the VRAM and VRM's.

Watercooling my fortress after christmas (been told i have to wait). how-ever, i have decided and bought an thermochill PA 4x120 radiator, so its going to have to sit outside the case. Don't know if that was the right decision or not. It was either that for 2 1x120mm and fit one in the 5.25 bays and one on the exhaust but i am watercooling an i7 920, gigabyte ex58 extreme mobo and eventually the graphics card all in one loop so thought the bigger radiator would be better...
got a question regarding the HDD's though, i have 2 WD cavair blacks in the bottom HDD mount, and they are in RAID but the noise they make is unbelievable when seaking!!!
Whats the best way to sort this, was thinking i could maybe bungee mod them in the HDD rack??

I'm just in the process of moving all my fiancee's gear over into my old TJ10, so once I've finished that I'll take some pics and get em in here..

My Fortress ft01 finally finished
Any fortress ft01 owners gone from akasa eclipse to one ? bit concerned over some of the temps i am reading compared to my eclipse.
My 6420 @ 3.2 sits around 22-25c idle 45-55c full prime load my gpu under s1 4850 @ 700-100 idles at 33-35c full load 40-50c.
Am worried this case doesn't stay as cool as an eclipse ?
