These are my efforts currently (2 separate builds) & they are both identical cases.

The everyday one (HTPC)

The encoding and gaming/backup rig.

Trying to tidy cables in this make of case is a task of Hercules. :rolleyes:

sounds cool. you might want to clean out your heatsink though. looks very dusty

I've no means to properly clean it. Also with my 2600k running at around 50 under load with the fan at 800rpm I'm sure it will manage

Picked these up today, i'm a big 'fan' of Enermax products. :cool:

Dual Enermax Cluster 14cm Fans on the top of the case and the 12cm version on the bottom.

you cant of overclocked at all then to reach 50max under load with that cooler and fan combo.

just remove the fan shroud from the cooler and run a hoover with the brush attachement. i did that with mine and my mates a50

Just changed to white cables in my R3, and yeah I will prob end up turning my hdds around, but I just wanted to show off the white cables.Also might block off the hdd cage so you cant see the cables behind

Just finished building my sisters new(ish) rig,That was built from all parts i had lying around (-Motherboard),Its just for general Internet/YouTube use...

Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86Ghz
Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo
1GB GeIL 800Mhz DDR2 (2X 512Mb sticks for Dual Channel)
8800GT 512Mb (The one i baked back to life)

250GB Seagate Barracuda Sata2 7200Rpm.

I know 1gb of ram isnt much,But its just what i had lying around,Should be enough for web browsing etc,If not il just get some more ram....surprisingly this board also supports DDR3.

Cable management isn't the best i know,But its just a cheap Gigabyte case that i had spare which doesn't really have any cable management. :cool:

Going to install either Linux Mint 14 or OpenSuse on it when i get back from work tonight..Which one would you choose?

Should be much better than her old (SKT A) based system.

just took a pic of mine saving for some white braided cables should be the end of next month then will post again once fitted also getting rid of the ram cooler when i get some black coloured ram

this is my very first build to which im quite happy with.

Unscrew that plastic section behind the fan at the front of the case mate. Would look cleaner.

how do you get the HDD into top bays? do you need to install anything extra?

prolly used these normaly come with retial hdds ( i/e those that come in proper box) but some times you get em with just oems as well as the retailers cant be arsed chucking em away
