I knew that cooler was big, but I never realised it was that big! glad I've decided I'm going water with my next build, as that cooler was my other choice
The d14 is a beasty of a cooler - glad I chose low profile ram to go with it, otherwise I might have had a problem fitting it inside the antec p183! Have to say though, installation was a breeze (backplate on motherboard, then board in case and all cables sorted, then cooler in last) and have been impressed with the packaging/instructions/tools that come with. And I probably don't need a fan on the ram!
Tried blue fan blades on the rear 2 fans as the red looks more pink. Now it has a more purple glow. Just a matter of swapping them around. Or maybe the other way around?
All wiring is routed behind hard drive cage so doesnt impead airflow. just wish i could hide it better.
(Cable hanging above graphics card is temp sensor connected to display in front).
Oh and i have also modded pci blanking plates for air flow to graphics cards even though now i have found out where i can buy some mesh ones.
al im waiting on is another akasa vortex neo for the top gfx and since those pics was taking i have installed an antec spot fan over the northbridge heatsink
