3L diesel? What milage? How often does it happen him, and who is he getting it checked out by? Let me know what the outcome is if you don't mind

I honestly think it's a set procedure in the car though, going by the reasons I've already stated (can't be bothered posting them again :p ). It's still under warranty so I'm not avoiding it for cost reasons. Will perhaps phone another local BMW specialist this afternoon but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car and when it smokes like that there is no drop in performance, change in sound, etc.

I don't know if it normal for the BMW but the Merc sprinter vans we have at work do this roughly every 1000 miles they can create quite a smoke screen if they have been driven hard

heres my exhaust it's a blueflame cat back with 3" exit :)

Heres my backbox. Stainless exhaust as standard... with a crappy bit of tin, probably chopped off of a 25 year old Felicia, to hold it to the car. Woot go Skoda :p

It is also the largest backbox I have ever seen :o

Some kind of Zender quad-exit thing, done by previous owner.

Far too many big exhausts on here...at least they're all on half decent cars.

it's all easily explainable.... ford wanted 400 quid for the exhaust with two year warentee Power flow wanted 320 with life time warentee...

and the wheels were the same, the originals were corrored alloys, and in need of new tyres... so ebay got that service, wheels and tyres were the same price as just tyres.....

so it's all to do with economics....And I like them..... :D

riding on 18"s YO!
