That's my average over the last 325 miles or so, a lot of it was motorway driving but there was a good deal of slower driving, around town etc ...and the driving I did at the meet.

Not driven enthusiastically on local trips, no, 20-24mpg, but thats still not a huge difference, so yes, whats the point. Especially when the E90 330i has 272bhp!
How is 30% not a huge difference?!

Anyway, I've been averaging around 24 MPG over the last few tanks.
This tank's ruined though as I only noticed the odometer had stopped working yesterday. I think it'd been stuck for a few days :o

Pyscho_Si: 50.1mpg ...wow, well I'm fairly sure that's a Mercedes, I think it's an E class ...am I right ? ...what engine did you use to get 50mpg though ?

Looks like A Class dials to me. Could be wrong though..

I guess it depends on your definition of huge :p
Either way, 30% more efficient is a significant amount.

C Class 220CDI Sport Automatic. I must admit I'm rather surprised with the MPG especially with the auto box.

Skoda Fabia VRS - Computer showing 74MPG... as usual the fuel computer talks &*^t!

For a fill to fill calc I am getting just over 60MPG.

As I am very sad, I've been recording all my fillups using my phone over the last 4000 miles.

It has generated me the following stats:

Last tank average: 33.55mpg

Total average: 27mpg

Worst average: 19.72mpg
Best average: 39.10mpg

All calculated over tankfulls :)
