*** Show us your Dogs ***

Some Lovely dogs in this thread but best of all is seeing that our members keep there dogs in Superb condition. Kudos to you All.

Here are a couple of pictures of our little Shih Tzu, before he met his end. :(

Yeah they said an adaptation, so I took that to mean mostly made up.
I take that to be the meaning behind every "based on a true story" flick. In this case, there was a dog (truth) and it was abandoned (truth) and picked up by a guy (truth). Ok, we can make everything else up now. :p

Meet Pillsbury, our 8 week choc Lab :D

Quite timid at the mo as expected and seems to want to cuddle up to the wife and I constantly, has had fits of excitment though as he gets used to his new surroundings. I found these pics quite amusing!

My Jack Russell, Max: I gave him to my dad when he moved to France for company, and the other week he ran off as he is prone to do, but never came back.
Sadly I only have one or two pictures of him, but I'll never forget him.

Edit: also, I'm pleased to see not many Docked tails in this thread. Good. It's barbaric.

Nothing worse than a fat labrador. Hard to keep them trim when they're old and slow mind you but we're quite few years off that with our two anyway.

We use a working dog food called Dr Johns. It's £10 for 15kg and the dogs look great from it. Used to use Bakers but at £30 per 15kg they can forget about it! If anyone it paying something similar and facy a change, get a small bit of Dr Johns if you can find it. We're lucky to live near a decent animal feed place.

I would like to keep this thread away from what people feed their dogs etc as they are many conflicting opinions (mine being one of them) on what you should be feeding your dog.

I love mongrels, when I was a child my mum and dad had a mongrel she looked like a sheep, and when my mum cooked lamb she would go all mental and bark and hide behind the sofa :/

She would eat it though, strange dog.

My dog Gismo (he was already named:P) he is a rescue dog, he is classed as a lurcher, but we don't know what he actually has in him exactly. :)

Looks like a bigger version of my little Tilly, she's cat sized (actually smaller than the cats that are living with us at the moment).

Also looks very similar to a rodesian Ridgeback X also call Tilly who was at the rescue centre we volunteer at.

Taz, pure staffordshire bull terrier, incredibly soft and silly, he's about 8/9 now although still acts like he's a puppy. This picture was taken about 2 years ago but he hasn't changed.
