I am just amateur and hobbyish at the moment, but I am hoping to improve in the future :D I do all my work traditionally with pencil, pen, colouring pencils and felt tips. Might buy the more expensive stuff once I start getting good enough!

I had started this roughly 5 years ago and hadn't drawn since. When I found it (and the pencil I was using to draw it too!) I decided to finally finish it off. Only the left eye had been partially drawn when I resumed. Apologies the crap quality but I was too lazy to dig out the DSLR and scanner. :p

Drawn with an HB mechanical pencil. I really need to go back and make the dark areas darker! :(

All I can say is wow to some of the work in this thread. I really can't draw at all but some of this is outstanding
 
some really talented people in here.

i used to draw and paint but not anymore. the last time i painted i took a kitchen knife to the canvas:o was a very angry artist.

ive been wanting to do some picture rendering, but havent a clue where to begin is it possible if someone could post some tutriouls or vids, i do have photoshop CS5 but havent done anything with it as yet.

Would be amazing to have a job as a concept artist! :( Patience definitely isn't my forte! If things don't happen instantly, I'll get frustrated and leave a picture!

I'm attempting some 'lazy' art.

I've taken a photo and altered it in photoshop, have created an outline of the altered mosaic version, and will then paint it and maybe do a collage with certain features.
 
I've only just got a bamboo pen and touch so this is very amateur lol

at the moment im just finding images on google that i like and drawing/redrawing them myself as my imaginations gone a bit dull :D

decided to change things a little bit and this is now going to be used for a drawing which i shall call the paper dragon slayer :P

Sooooo, Shifty, how do you fancy turning your hand to a front cover for one of my ebooks? It's an historical vampire story (I'll post more details if you're interested). No worries if you don't fancy it or are busy, of course!
