Mazda3 MPS is a hot hatch. CRZ isn't.

Yeah it's got a healthy spec list as standard. Nav, half leather, Bluetooth, bi xenons etc

I think the only extra things the mk2 had was Bluetooth, satnav & heated seats.

Don't believe the trip computer. Mine constantly says I'm doing over 30mpg. The reality is, with local driving I get 23mpg, and on the motorway I average about 32.

I like the mazda3 mps, they do a nice light blue colour which looks great. Can't stand white cars personally.

My missus has the MK1 mazda3 (sadly not MPS) and they are quite purposeful looking in MPS form still!

Do like the Mk2 MPS, I once considered the Mk1 version but it was very dull to look at, the Mk2 on the other hand manages to look subtle but still has that hint of aggression you want in a hot hatch

. If I had to go to a more sensible/practical car than the MX5 again then its definitely a car I would consider.
